Roots of Health is seeking a Finance & Audit Support Staff is a temporary role covering the period September 16, 2026 – January 31, 2027. The position will provide additional operational capacity to the Finance Team and will focus on routine, administrative, documentation-heavy, and time-sensitive finance, audit, reporting, reconciliation, and compliance activities.
The position is intended to support the Finance Manager and other Finance Team members by ensuring that financial records and supporting documents are complete, properly organized, and readily available for reporting, audit, and funder requirements, while helping maintain regular finance operations.
The position will also provide additional capacity during the onboarding and implementation of new projects which are expected to increase the volume of project-related transactions, documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements beginning in September and October 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Documentation & Filing – Scan, organize, maintain, and file receipts, invoices, liquidation reports, contracts, BIR Form 2307s, and other financial supporting documents.
- Audit & Funder Support – Gather and cross-check supporting documents against audit and funder requirements, identify missing documentation, and assist in preparing documentation packages.
- Routine Finance Operations – Facilitate AR signing through Dropbox, review petty cash reports and supporting documents, and provide general administrative support to the Finance Team.
- Reconciliation & Year-End Support – Assist with books of accounts reconciliation, review financial records for completeness, and support year-end audit preparation.
- Project & Compliance Support – Provide finance documentation and administrative support for new project onboarding, implementation, reporting, compliance, and other tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Candidates currently completing a relevant degree with appropriate experience may also be considered.
- At least one year of relevant experience in bookkeeping, finance administration, accounting support, audit support, or a similar role. Strong fresh graduates may also be considered.
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting records, and financial documentation.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with receipts, invoices, liquidation reports, BIR forms, and other financial supporting documents is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational and filing skills.
- Ability to handle routine and repetitive documentation tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks while knowing when to escalate issues or missing information to the Finance Manager.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and provide timely follow-up on outstanding documents.
- Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential financial information.
