We couldn’t do the work that we do without the support of individuals and organizations around the world that share the same values that we do. When funders make the effort to visit Palawan and talk with our staff and the people we serve, it means a lot to all of us. So when EMpower Regional Officer, Elise Lee visited us, our teaching team was excited and inspired. The visit afforded them an opportunity to speak honestly and openly with a funder about what we do. It also helped Elise understand many of the subtle (and not so subtle) issues that our staff face in educating young people about reproductive health in the Philippines.
