Roots of Health is seeking a Project Assistant to support the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team. Reporting to the Senior MEL Officer, the Project Assistant will fulfill tasks relating to project monitoring and data management. 

This is a full-time position for a fixed period of six months with a daily salary of P450. Work will be eight hours daily, five days a week. Benefits include government benefits (PhilHealth, SSS, Pagibig), Overtime Pay, Holiday Pay, Service Incentive Leave, and Thirteenth-month Pay.

Responsibilities

  • Encode Walk-in Contraceptive Acceptor/Prenatal services, Community Health Advocate/Youth Advocate checklists, training assessment (Pre Test & Post Test), HIV referral, CBS form, and Outreach data; 
  • Ensure accuracy of entered data and completed work by reviewing, correcting, changing or deleting erroneous entered information immediately before submission to the MEL officers;
  • Secure entered information by creating data backups;
  • Confer with immediate head regarding incomplete information;
  • Create and maintain logbooks of entered and changed data;
  • Assist in routine data collection of the clinic’s and other project’s data entry;
  • Ensure integrity of data at every stage of the process by checking source documents against entered data;
  • Ensure proper filing of documents including questionnaires, reports and data sets; Ensure timely updating of the database regularly;

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • College Level education
  • Experience in data entry and data validation
  • Basic Knowledge of Computers (Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office)
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets)
  • Previous experience in using databases (data entry and report generation)
