University

We hold seminars that focus on reproductive health at Palawan State University for students of the Nursing and Education departments. We hope that by further educating the youth in these influential fields, they in turn will be able to help others in the future. As we grow, we hope to expand our programming by forging links with the other universities in Puerto Princesa.

We are also partnering with Western Philippines University Department of Social Work. We currently have four students performing their senior year practicums in Pulang Lupa. Together with their instructor, we are providing the students with training in community outreach and education. In return the students are helping us with our data gathering and the community organization facet of our work. WPU has also expressed interest in having our staff provide a series of Reproductive Health workshops for their college students.

A recent grant from Barclays Capital will allow us to expand our programming for university students so that we will be able to offer reproductive health education and counseling to students at all of the major universities in Puerto Princesa.
